About Us
From Navy Pier’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration to neighborhood cultural events, Mercedes Events & Entertainment delivers exceptional, memorable experiences.
Founded by Mercedes Feliz-Matos, the company brings over 20 years of event planning expertise to every celebration.
Since incorporation, we’ve produced two cultural events (2023–2024) at Navy Pier, organized Una Noche de Salsa (2024) in collaboration with the Peruvian Festival, and coordinated and produced the Gritos de Independencia community celebration for Northwest Side CDC for three consecutive years (2023–2025). We also collaborated with the Chicago Cultural Alliance by providing entertainment for their MOSAIC Gala (2023).
